You can use Google Tone to send the URL for any web page, including news stories, pictures, documents,YouTube videos to  any computer within earshot (that also has the Google Tone extension installed and turned ON).

You Tube AdBlocker Extension

YouTube is an awesome resource for teachers, but the commercials that automatically play can really stop the flow of your lesson.  If you are using Chrome as your browser, you can get rid of those annoying adds using the AdBolock extension!





When you visit YouTube, an icon will automatically appear in your omnibox reminding you that the extension is working!

PowerMyLearning.org

Find online games to support your instruction and assign them to your students using powermylearning.org!  This free site has organized and categorized educational, online games by grade level, subject matter and common core relevance.   The games are pulled from sites like Mr. Naussbaum, Scholastic, PBS, Harcourt... all over the web.  You can cut your surfing time in half and know that the games are school and age appropriate.  Plus, you can create classes and assign games to your students.  





The powermylearning.org interface is kid-friendly!  Students can create avatars, earn badges, connect with classmates, search and play games on their own.

Kahoot! - November Staff Meeting

Easy, online, web based learning game that can be played on any device!

Teachers create multiple choice quizzes at https://getkahoot.com.  When you are ready to play with your class, launch and project your Kahoot.  A game pin will appear on the screen.

Students can go to https://kahoot.it  on any device, enter the pin and join the game!
